There’s been very little tie-in merchandise for Star Wars: The Bad Batch thus far but it looks like fans can look forward to at least one tie-in book next year!

The Bad Batch: Hunted! will be a graphic novel-style retelling of the exciting bounty hunter-filled episode “Bounty Lost” and will be published by Penguin Random House as part of its young readers collection. The book is currently scheduled for release on May 3, 2022, and will include full-colour images and dialogue from the show.

After refusing to follow Order 66 and destroy the Jedi, Clone Force 99 and their new friend Omega are on the run from bounty hunters Fennec Shand and Cad Bane, the Empire — and even their old teammate Crosshair! Will the Bad Batch be able to escape?

This 80-page graphic novel-style retelling of Episode 9: Bounty Lost from Star Wars: The Bad Batch features final frames and dialogue from the animated series on Disney+ in vibrant full colour. It’s perfect for boys and girls ages 8 to 11 and fans of Star Wars: The Bad Batch and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

It’s wonderful to see Omega front and centre on the cover – as she should be – but I’m not entirely sure why they chose to omit Echo or include Crosshair in his old Clone Force 99 armour.

Minor nitpicks aside, The Bad Batch: Hunted! is the first true tie-in book for the series and this Screen Comix adaptation will be a fine addition to any fan’s collection. May it be the first of many books or comics based on the Batch!
